The Dometic CU-55 + VD-01 package has plenty of cooling power with a maximum capacity of 100 l. Suitable for both floor mounting and solar power operation, the O-shaped evaporator offers flexible horizontal or vertical installation. The corrosion resistant stainless steel mounting plate ensures durability.

This is an easy task for the Dometic ColdMachine 85, designed for refrigerators up to 250 l or freezers with a maximum capacity of 70 l. The stainless steel mounting plate offers durability while the seven suitable evaporator types and one cold accumulator give you flexibility of choice.

The Dometic Air-Cooled ColdMachine cooling unit is powered by an advanced compressor which provides 25 % more cooling performance. The cundensing unit can supply up to 15 cu. ft. (424 l) of custom cold storage. These cooling units run on 12/24 V DC power and provide refrigeration or freezing in general boating applications. Pair the cooling unit with a VD series evaporator or holdover power plate in a cold storage box or compartment which can be installed up to 15 ft. (4.57 m) away. The robust, corrosion-resistant stainless-steel construction is designed to survive the rigors of the marine environment while providing exceptional performance in hot and humid conditions, erratic or low voltage, or continuous use. The ColdMachine is equipped with self-sealing quick-connect fittings for easy attachment, and comes pre-charged and ready to install.

Quiet, Efficient 12V Marine Air Conditioner

Built for dependability, the Cuddy II has a stainless steel base pan that is insulated to prevent sweating and minimize movement and sound. The evaporator coil of lanced aluminum fins and rifled copper tubing is dipped in a protective polyester enamel. The compact motorized impeller moves air quietly and efficiently through ductwork and grille.

Protective features include independent locked-rotor protection on the compressor and air mover. Under voltage protection shuts down the compressor and air mover if voltage is less than 10.5 V. The Cuddy II benefits from thermal protection and polarity protection.

Installation is easy with a readily accessible terminal strip for both the 12 V DC power input and the thermostat wiring. There are condensate connections on 3 sides of the base pan, and hold-down clamps are also included.

The Cuddy II uses environmentally friendly R-134a refrigerant, and comes factory charged, wired, and tested. To conserve space, the control box is mounted remotely from the air conditioner on a 4.5 ft. (137 cm) heavy-duty cable.
